Role and Responsibilities:
Production Workers work in cold facilities packaging and preparing food. Some usual work duties performed are receiving food items, storing food properly, operating food processing equipment, maintaining supplies, mixing ingredients, and assessing food items quality
Promotes and adheres to company safety work rules and regulations
Inspect component for foreign material
Assists and relieves other processing employees as needed
Communicates any problems or changes in production or quality to supervisor and appropriate personnel
Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operation
Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Wear employer-specified protective gear, including gloves, face/eye shields, aprons, boots, etc.
Perform varying tasks while standing, lifting, crouching, etc. During long periods of time.
Perform all tasks safely and in a manner, that will not create or pose a direct threat to the health and/or safety of the sanitation worker or any other person.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
Oral communication skills
Ability to stand on concrete for a minimum of 8 hours daily
Create and maintain an efficient, hygienic, and positive working environment
Promote health and safety in the workplace Display good work ethic, resourcefulness, and organization
Understand the Standard Operating Procedures and Inspection Regulations
Ensure quality control and efficient work flow
Display positive leadership
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds as required
Prior assembly experience helpful
7am-3: 30pm and 3pm-12am available
