Assists with planning and executing the preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
Attends to breakdowns, diagnoses faults, and oversees equipment improvements and time-critical repairs.
Assists Facilities, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering with problem identification, trouble shooting and equipment issue resolution and repair.
Oversees spare parts inventory and will be active in the maintenance management system.
Performs basic equipment engineering design evaluations; may recommend alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures.
Expected to know and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Contributes to the departments continuous improvement culture.
Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
Other duties as required.
Must be available for on-call and weekend shifts
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong electrical skills; including ability to program and troubleshoot PLC.
Knowledge and understanding of Ladder Logic.
Ability to read wiring diagrams.
Good math skills and understanding of manufacturing processes.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suites) and analytical skills.
Two years of experience in an appropriate technical field required.
Experience in oil & gas and/or manufacturing a plus.
