Position Summary

This position will be responsible to designing of RCC & Steel Structures for proposal, FEED & Detailed Engineering for Oil& Gas projects
Duties and Responsibilities
o Responsible for Preliminary design & preparation of Civil& Structural MTO during proposals
o Perform project contract reviews and raise TQs where applicable
o Prepare Design basis, specifications and engineering calculations; Review and understanding the geotechnical reports and provide inputs for site grading drawings.
o Prepare design of structural Skids/other modular structures, pipe-racks, Off-Skid Platforms/ Secondary Structures, Pipe Supports, Cross-overs, Cable tray Supports, Shelters, Steel Buildings etc including Lifting, Road Transport, Sea Transport analysis.
o Prepare civil design including foundation design for vertical and horizontal vessels, Flare, Pipe racks, Skids, Platforms, Pits, dynamic equipment like pumps, compressors etc.
o Ensure provision of proper inputs to designers team for civil/ structural drawings including reinforcement detail drawings for concrete structures; bar bending schedules; foundation plot plan; miscellaneous civil drawings for Roads/ Fences/ Gates/ drainage layouts, Underground facilities etc.
o Ensure On time/ On Budget metrics compliance & Ensure no increase in Civil& Structural MTO during detailed engineering without a change order.
o Ensure timely acquisition, review and approval of Vendor deliverables and Inter-discipline co-ordination.
o Participate in internal & external audits.
o Co-ordinate and control 3rd party engineering contractors and review their engineering deliverables.
Internal Cross Working Relations (Departmental)
o To co-ordinate with other disciplines & Maintain good interpersonal relationship.
External Working Relations (External to Exterran)
o Maintain positive relationship with clients & vendors in Compliance of Company s business code of ethics.
Job Requirements
Preferred Education and Relevant Experience/Training:
o Bachelor of Engineering (Civil& Structural).
o Minimum 10-12 years of work experience including 5 years of similar job profile with an EPC or Detail Engineering Organization
Technical Knowledge and Skills
o Conversant with ACI/ AISC (ASD/LRFD)/ British Codes & Knowledge of Oil & gas Industry practices
Computer Skills:
o Proficient use of Staad-pro, Mat 3D/Foundation 3D, X-Steel, PDMS, Cadworx, Navisworks & AUtocad.
Language Ability:
o Shall be fluent in English (written & conversational)
Working Conditions and Physical Strain
o Must be able to work under pressure; Occasional business travel to remote and challenging environments.
o Occasional long work days and/or long work weeks due to differences in time zones, work schedules across operations area and business travel.
